Hello all,
On the last update we were on route to Lenexa, Kansas. Home of, Xtreme Marine. Owned by Bob Holloway. Tim King although was the one that organized the clinic. We got lucky once again with perfect weather on the 23rd and 24th of June. The wind even cooperated with us as we rode tight against the 40-foot high levy that protected us both days. We even got to go out for world famous Kansas City BBQ. I’m still lickin my fingers.
We packed up on the 25th to head to Greenville IL. Home of Dan and Annita Jackson. Also home of Extreme Motor Sports. Store Manager Rick DesChamps organized a full schedule along with Kyle Smith. I love going to this stop because of the man made lake that yields perfect water whenever we want it. We even had a jump ramp to play with. The 26th was our first day off there; as well it should have been, since it’s a national holiday, being my birthday and all. Chad my son surprised me with a shipment of Live N.H. Lobster and Steamers, we stunk up the Bus pretty good with the feast. Then we all played on the water for the day. I slalomed, Tricked, Wakeboarded, and Jumped.
Found a few hidden muscles too. It was a great B-Day and everyone at Extreme played his or her part to make it a perfect day. From there we headed North to B & B Water Sports in Delhi, Iowa. The Bauer’s have had an unfortunate start to their season with all the flooding that has occurred in Iowa. Unfortunately this hurt the clinic quite a bit but we made the best of it. It was a quick in and out. But it is always good to see my old time friends in Delhi.
We then moved further North to Forest Lake MN. We showed up a little early to enjoy the 4th with the Dalbecs. We arrived on the night of the 3rd and got all set up for the festivities the morning of the 4th. We started with our second annual Parade down Main Street of Forest Lake, which is 45 minutes outside of Minneapolis. The parade is the second largest in the whole state. We hooked up the Bus to one of Forest Lake Motor Sports 22 SSV Worlds Edition. We gave the boat the atmosphere
of a fun day on the lake. A bunch of dancing bikinis and one loud mouth guy, having more fun than he should have. I had to struggle through that role. Yup, that’s me surfing the top of the Bimmini. Throwing out Monster Tower, CWB, Supra/Moomba, OJ Props and No Fear stickers that I had left. Unfortunately they wiped me out. So I need some more give away stickers when you can get them to me. We then watched an amazing Fireworks display on The Lake that night. Then we decided to take a couple days off and headed with Blake to
Wisconsin to his Girlfriend Cassie’s parents cabin. We had 2 days of chillin in the wilderness. We played on dirt bikes, quads, Jet Ski’s and even did some tubing. It was a blast. On Monday we started our classes and we were booked solid both Monday and Tuesday. I am now sitting at Jeremy’s desk at Nisswa Marine writing this. We are booked here the next 2 days and I am tired and hungry so until next time.
Talk to you soon,
