Summer Sessions

Hello all,

Forest Lake Motor Sports 055.JPGHere is the 3rd update of the Summer and We are in full swing. On the last update I was getting ready to leave B&B Sports in Delhi, IA. On Route to The Dalbec family at Forest Lake Motor Sports just outside of Minneapolis, MN.
We arrived there on the 25th for clinics on the 26th. That’s right Happy B-Day to me. Blake had us a full boat on the 26th. Which was also one of the nicest days I’ve ever expeiramented in MN. 85 plus degrees and perfectly flat water. Not an everyday occurance in MN.

We had booked the 27th and 28th off for some down time that I don’t usually take for my B-Day. And a great couple days off we had. Tim and wife Kim were a little worried about our annual bike ride since I’m bikeless this year. So they lent me  one of there new Boss Hoss trikes that boasts 500 plus horse power. We rode all afternoon in and out of the MN. WI. border. At the end of the day Tim let me hop on his newest bike, that has rediculous horse power and it’s worth well over 100k. I had sweaty palms to say the least with this power between my legs.

Forest Lake Motor Sports 105.JPGOn Monday the 29th we once again had a busy day on the water as our second day of clinics filled up. Between Surfing and Wakeboard we once again had a boat full of first time achievements. I guess that’s one thing I rarely talk about is how much people learn during this tour. It’s deffinately one of my pet peaves to make sure everyone in my boat walks with something new to their Wakeboard aresinol.

On Tuesday the 30th we even had some overflow riders sign up. This is one thing I always book, is an overflow day to fill spots that may have been pushed off to inclement weather. If there is good weather we try to fill these days, which normaly happens.

Nisswa Marine 079.JPGThe 1st of July  took us back on the road on route to Nisswa Marine. Jeremy booked 2 days this year as he usually does. They have so many return customers, that there is never a problem signing up people. We ran on the 2nd and 3rd once again keeping the weekend open to celebrate the 4th. Most of the Fireworks went off on the night of the 3rd. So after clinics we took the boat out on the massive Gull Lake. On Saturday the 4th we followed Jeremy to a sand bar party for a little Volley Ball and socializing. Of course we fit in a steelar Wake Surf Session as well. On Sunday the 5th we packed up and started our 6 hour journey to Stengl Marine in Minocqua, WI. Half way across I dropped of Geanie at the Deluth Airport as she had to get back to appointments at home. Nisswa Marine 084.JPGShe defenately straightened out my beat up body and has me back riding again in full force. I was going to try to leave and go to Nationals to compete in Pro Veterans. But the tour dates are just to demanding this year and I need to take the income.

I'm at Stengl now just finishing our first day on the water. We had 8 people today and once again, everyone finished with some new tricks to their trick list.

Until next time,
Briscoe
